What counts as secure redaction?
Affected pages are redrawn as images with opaque black over marked regions, then rebuilt into a new PDF so original text objects on those pages are not left underneath. The tool then re-opens the output and tries to extract the marked phrases. If they remain, verification fails.

Is a black rectangle enough?
No. Covering live PDF text without removing it is not secure redaction on DevNestro.
When can I download?
Only after Apply finishes and verification passes. Failed verification shows that the selected content could not be securely removed.
