Editorial & content standards
This page explains how DevNestro publishes articles and tool guides. It is part of our publisher identity alongside About and Contact.
Original writing
Articles, pillar guides, and on-page help are written for DevNestro. We describe problems people actually hit (wrong image format, leftover EXIF, confusing bank FX spreads) and how the matching free tools on this site behave. We do not publish spun thin clones of other sites’ posts, and we do not create doorway pages that only exist to rank for a keyword without useful explanation.
No scraped copyrighted dictionary content
Language tools that show definitions or examples use open or clearly licensed data sources and/or original helper copy owned by DevNestro. We do not paste Merriam-Webster, Oxford, or other proprietary dictionary text into pages or articles. If a definition source is used, the tool page states that relationship. Word of the Day and vocabulary helpers follow the same rule.
How Cloud AI tools are labeled
Features that send text, files, images, audio, video, or URLs to Google’s Gemini API (or another configured model endpoint) are cloud AI. Those pages say so in plain language and are covered in the Privacy Policy. Browser-local tools that keep processing on your device are described that way too. Workflows that can call a cloud step require an explicit action and consent UI — they do not silently upload.
Accuracy over hype
Checkers, detectors, and “safety” helpers reduce risk; they do not guarantee safety. Currency rates are reference data, not your bank’s payout rate. Schema and SEO generators produce markup; they do not promise rich results or rankings. We avoid fake AggregateRating, invented testimonials, and fabricated traffic claims.
Corrections and contact
If a guide is wrong about how a DevNestro tool works, or if you need a factual correction, email hello@devnestro.com via Contact with the page URL and what should change. Copyright and abuse reports for hosted File Share or Secure Notes use the same path. There is no guaranteed reply time; complete notices are prioritized.
Advertising context
Public pages may show Google ads when a publisher account serves them. Advertising does not change
editorial conclusions on tool pages. Ads are not placed on private /share/… or
/n/… transfer pages. Cookie and partner details live in the Privacy Policy.
