These flags are written with PdfSharp security settings. Viewer support for restricting print/copy/edit varies; treat them as advisory if a reader ignores them.
Unlike most DevNestro PDF tools, encryption requires a short server round-trip. The upload is ephemeral, is not written to durable storage, and passwords are not logged.
FAQ
Why is this not fully in-browser?
The browser PDF library used elsewhere cannot write encrypted PDFs. PdfSharp applies encryption on the server for this tool only.
Do you keep my password?
No. The password is used to encrypt the response and is not logged or stored.
