Photo Metadata & Privacy Cleaner
View hidden photo metadata and remove private information such as GPS location before sharing. This does not claim to find every hidden artifact.
Privacy Scan
Your photograph is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to DevNestro.
What is a photo metadata cleaner?
Photos often store camera details, software names, and GPS location in EXIF or similar metadata. This tool reads those fields locally and can save a copy with location or all metadata removed.
How to use it
- Drop a JPG, PNG, or WebP file (max 20 MB).
- Read the scan. If location is present, treat that as sensitive.
- Remove GPS only, or remove all metadata, then download
devnestro-private-photo.
FAQ
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The file is read in your browser so DevNestro never receives the image just to inspect EXIF.
Does Remove All Metadata keep the picture looking the same?
It re-encodes the pixels without metadata. JPEG quality is slightly reduced. Keep orientation leaves an orientation tag on JPEG GPS-strip copies when that option is on.
