What is an image compressor?
It re-encodes a picture so the file weighs less. JPEG and WebP use the quality slider. PNG is lossless, so it often stays large unless you export JPG or WebP.
How to use it

Does this upload my photo?
No. The image is read and compressed in your browser.
Why is a PNG sometimes larger after “compression”?
PNG does not use the quality slider. Switch the output to JPG or WebP for a smaller photo.
