How it works

- Create search session builds a temporary Gemini File Search store and indexes the files.
- Ask semantic questions. Delete AI Search Session removes the store. A cleanup job also expires idle sessions.

Do embeddings stay at Google?
They can, until the store is deleted. Use Delete AI Search Session when you are done. Do not upload files you cannot send to Google.
Is this processed locally?
No. Files and questions go to Google Gemini File Search.
