Record the bug, the lesson, or the demo without a studio
A screenshot cannot show the click that broke the form. A meeting cannot be rescheduled so a teammate can watch you reproduce a bug. Teachers, support staff, and product people need a recording of the actual screen, with optional voice and a webcam bubble, without installing a heavyweight editor.
Why this is worth doing in the browser
Desktop apps want accounts, watermarks, or an upload the moment you hit stop. The DevNestro Online Screen Recorder uses the browser’s own capture and MediaRecorder APIs. You pick the screen, window, or tab in the native dialog. Microphone and webcam are optional. The file stays on this device until you choose to share it.
How to use the tool
Set microphone or camera if you need them, click Choose Screen & Start, record, then stop and preview. Download for a course upload or a ticket. If the file is under 16 GB and you want a temporary link, Share for 24 Hours uses the existing File Share flow — only after you confirm the upload.
- Choose a mode: screen only, plus mic, plus system/tab audio when the browser allows it, or webcam overlay.
- Grant capture in the browser dialog; DevNestro does not fake a source picker.
- Pause or mute if you need a moment; stop sharing in the browser also finishes the file cleanly.
- Rename, download, or share. Recordings over 16 GB can still download locally.
Privacy
Capture, encoding, preview, and download stay in the browser. Nothing is uploaded unless you explicitly create a 24-hour File Share link. After that share, the file follows File Share rules and is deleted when the link expires.
Show the work, do not describe it. Open the Screen Recorder, capture the tab or window, and send a file people can actually watch.
