Resize for the platform instead of stretching in the post
Every network wants a different rectangle. Stretching a square into a YouTube thumbnail is how you get black bars and a cropped face. A resizer with presets puts the common widths in one click, and custom width, height, or percent covers the rest.
Why this is worth doing in the browser
Design tools are heavy when you only need 1200 pixels on the long edge. The DevNestro Image Resizer runs in the browser. It will not invent detail that was never in the file — shrinking is the honest direction. Crop first if composition is the problem; resize after the crop so you are not scaling leftover background.
How to use the tool
Drop the image, pick a preset or type dimensions, and download. Compress if the resized file is still too heavy. Convert formats with JPG/PNG/WebP tools when the host is picky.
- Decide the target platform before you pick a preset.
- Prefer fitting the long edge; do not upscale a small source and expect sharpness.
- Crop to the right ratio first when the preset would otherwise slice a face.
- Download the resized file and keep the original for print or archive.

Resizing runs in your browser. Photographs are not uploaded to DevNestro.
Post the size the network asked for. Open the Image Resizer, choose the preset, and skip the surprise crop on publish.
