QR Safety Inspector
Decode a QR image locally. Review the payload and URL risk indicators before you decide whether to open anything.
Decoded payload
Signals
Risk labels are Low / Medium / High indicators only — not “safe”, “virus free”, or “definitely malicious”.
Images and decoded text stay in this browser. DevNestro does not auto-open QR destinations.
What does QR Safety check?
It classifies URL, text, email, phone, SMS, Wi-Fi, vCard, location, and recognizable payment payloads, then runs URL heuristics such as HTTP vs HTTPS, punycode, raw IPs, unusual ports, embedded credentials, shorteners, and encoded redirects.
FAQ
Will this open the link for me?
No. Opening requires an explicit confirmation.
Is a Low result safe?
No. Low means fewer heuristics matched. It is not a malware or phishing verdict.
