Build sitemap.xml from a list — no risky crawl in V1
Sitemaps should list the URLs you intend to publish, not whatever a casual crawl finds behind auth walls or staging hosts. V1 therefore focuses on list-driven generation and leaves production crawling out until it can be done with the same SSRF controls as other fetch tools. Editors paste known URLs; operators avoid surprising private endpoints.
Why this is worth doing in the browser
DevNestro’s XML Sitemap Generator accepts one URL per line or CSV rows of url,yyyy-MM-dd, optional file upload, and emits a utf-8 sitemap urlset with loc and lastmod. Crawl mode is not enabled in V1.
How to use the tool
Paste or upload your URL list, generate, download or copy sitemap.xml, host it, and reference it from robots.txt. Validate with Sitemap Validator before submitting anywhere.
- Skip crawl V1 if SSRF or auth boundaries are unclear — we did.
- Prefer absolute https loc values.
- Keep lastmod honest; empty is fine.
- Validate after edits; do not hand-edit broken XML.
Privacy
List processing stays in the session. API: None.
