Generate an image with Gemini and label it as generated media
A text box that returns a picture is easy to treat as a camera. It is not. When you press Generate, DevNestro sends the prompt to the configured image-generation model (gemini-3-pro-image by default, falling back to the host image model). The API is asked for TEXT and IMAGE modalities. The preview is AI-generated. DevNestro will not call it a real photograph, an official likeness, or a substitute for a licensed asset. The page shows a generated-content note on every result.
Why this is worth doing in the browser
Image generation is capability-gated and rate-limited to three requests per hour by default because it is expensive relative to text. Aspect ratio and resolution are sent only when you pick them and the model accepts those fields. Two images use a candidate count of two when the API supports it; they still consume quota. If the host key is empty, the page stays usable: you can write a prompt and see the cloud disclosure, and the request fails closed with a configuration message instead of inventing a picture.
How to use the tool
Write a prompt. Optionally choose aspect ratio, resolution, and one or two images. Generate. Preview, read any model note, and download. Clear / Start Over drops the prompt and the previews. Nothing is stored as a gallery.
- Do not prompt for real people’s private photos or disallowed content.
- Treat faces, logos, and landmarks as fictional unless you have rights to use them.
- A refused request may be a safety block or an hourly limit, not a broken button.
- Keep confidential product sketches out of the prompt if you do not want Google to see them.
Privacy
The prompt is sent to Google Gemini. DevNestro does not keep a generated-image library. Temporary files are not created for a text-only generate. Free-tier training disclosure follows the configured tier. This is not processed locally.
