Send a document to Gemini and treat the recap as a draft, not a filing
A file on disk is easy to mistake for a private note. This page is not an in-browser reader. When you press Analyze, DevNestro streams the file to Google’s Gemini Files API, waits until Gemini marks it active, then calls generateContent with the file URI and the focus you picked. The model id is the host text model (gemini-3.5-flash by default). The temporary Gemini file is deleted after the reply when cleanup succeeds. There is no local LLM and no claim that names, dates, or amounts are complete.
Why this is worth doing in the browser
People look for an AI document analyzer because contracts, memos, and slide decks are longer than they want to skim. This route states the opposite: cloud processing, Files API storage that Google treats as temporary, optional free-tier training disclosure, and a prompt-privacy checker in related tools if you need to strip secrets from a pasted question first.
How to use the tool
Choose a focus such as summary, dates, people, or a custom question. Select a PDF, text, Markdown, HTML, CSV, or Office file under the configured size. Confirm the file may be sent to Google. Analyze uploads it. Read the result against the source. Clear / Start Over drops the on-screen draft. Host logs may record feature, model, duration, tokens, and status—not the file bytes.

Privacy
The document is sent to Google Gemini. DevNestro does not keep a document archive. Temporary Gemini files are deleted after a one-shot analysis when the delete call succeeds, and a cleanup job removes leftovers. If the host uses Gemini’s free API tier, Google’s current terms may allow submitted content to improve Google products.
