Encode and decode Base64 without mailing the blob
Base64 shows up in data URLs, JWT playgrounds, email attachments, and config files that cannot host raw bytes. Encoding by hand is not a thing. Decoding a token in a random website is how secrets leak. A Base64 tool on a site you already use for JSON is the boring, correct option.
Why this is worth doing in the browser
The DevNestro Base64 Encoder encodes and decodes in the current session. It is not a file vault and not a JWT auditor. Huge binaries belong in files, not in a text box. Use JSON Formatter when the decoded text is JSON. Use GUID Generator when you need an identifier, not an encoding.
How to use the tool
Paste the text or Base64, choose encode or decode, and copy the result. Clear the box if the content was a credential.
- Encode only what you need; Base64 is not encryption.
- Decode onto a machine you control if the payload is sensitive.
- Do not confuse wrapping with hashing or signing.
- Clear the page when you are done with secrets.
Privacy
The conversion runs in the current session. DevNestro does not provide a Base64 archive of your pastes.
When a spec says Base64, use a converter, not a guess. Open the Base64 Encoder, convert, and copy the string the protocol actually wants.
