Estimate Zakat on eligible assets using commonly used calculation principles.

Enter only the zakatable value you intend to include, following the guidance you use.

Deductions and Nisab

Nisab is commonly determined using the value of gold or silver. Because prices and scholarly approaches vary, enter the threshold you wish to use.

Figures stay in this session and are not stored. This is an estimate, not a religious ruling.

What is a Zakat calculator?

It adds the eligible asset values you enter, subtracts optional deductions, compares the net amount with the Nisab threshold you supply, and if that threshold is met applies a 2.5% estimate.

How to use it

  1. Enter cash, savings, metal values, business amounts, and any other zakatable value you are including.
  2. Enter eligible immediate amounts due, if you are deducting them under the guidance you follow.
  3. Enter your Nisab threshold and read the estimate.

FAQ

Does this replace a scholar’s advice?

No. Rules can vary. Use this as a working estimate and consult a qualified scholar for your situation.

Why do I enter Nisab myself?

Gold and silver prices and scholarly approaches differ. This version does not fetch metal prices, so you enter the threshold you want to use.
