Transcribe with Gemini and leave the local Whisper page alone
Interviews, voice notes, and lecture clips hide words you want in a notepad. This page sends the audio to Gemini and asks for plain text, approximate timestamps, speaker labels, or caption lines. It is labeled AI-assisted transcript on purpose. A generative model can skip a clause, merge speakers, or invent a word that sounds plausible. It is not Whisper in the browser, not a certified transcript, and not the existing /tools/audio-video-to-text route.
