See the real sale price before you checkout
Retail tags lie in a friendly way: 20% off, then another 10%, then tax. Stacking discounts is not the same as adding 30%, and tax on the discounted price is not tax on the sticker. A discount calculator turns the shelf story into the amount that will actually leave the account.
Why this is worth doing in the browser
People apply the second discount to the original price and feel cheated at the till. Students doing “sale price” homework need the same clarity. The DevNestro Discount Calculator handles a markdown, an extra discount, and optional sales tax so you can compare two offers instead of guessing which store is cheaper.
How to use the tool
Enter the original price and the advertised percents, then read the final amount. Use the Percentage Calculator when you are not in a retail story. Use Profit Margin Calculator when you are the seller setting the tag.
- Start from the listed price before any loyalty fiction.
- Apply extra discounts in the order the till will apply them.
- Add tax only if you will actually pay it on that purchase.
- Compare two complete totals, not two headline percents.
Privacy
Amounts stay in the current session and are not stored as a purchase history. DevNestro is not a shop and does not take payment.
Do not celebrate a percent until you have the money number. Open the Discount Calculator and check out with the total you already computed.
